However, it’s not one of my favorite rooftop bars, there are others with better views and vibes. The atmosphere is pretty laid-back and you’ll be able to see the Hudson River, which is especially beautiful at the end of the day, when you can watch the sunset. This rooftop bar is located downtown at Conrad New York and, as far as I know, is also child-friendly. It’s open from April to October, but that can vary according to the weather! There you can enjoy the sight of the Brooklyn Bridge from an open-air point of view. One of them is R17, which opens all year long and is a great destination for a child-friendly summer trip. Furthermore, after Hurricane Sandy the renovations breathed new life into the place and brought restaurants (some yet to set an opening date) from renowned chefs with it. Pier 17 is one of my favorite spots in the city, I always recommend it to visitors and have even put together an entire itinerary about it.
